The Canola Eat Well program, supported by canola farmer organizations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, partners in a successful school fundraiser that sells vegetables and provides a recipe booklet showing how to prepare the vegetables using canola oil.
November 2019—
For starters, the new guide is easy to use. It also has fewer food groups, an emphasis on healthy fats, a consideration for plant-based protein and an evidence-based approach.
September 2019—
The Canola Eat Well program is building a canola-smart group of chefs, dietitians and food writers across Canada. These ambassadors were a big help in raising canola awareness when China restricted imports of Canadian canola seed.
